During the 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 academic year, the Centennial Chapel Speaker Series showcased a variety of speakers addressing issues of excellence, women and scholarship.

Governor Jodi Rell spoke with the students about her experiences in the years leading up to and during her tenure as the 87th and first-ever female Governor of Connecticut.

October 27, 2010Courtlant Smith, a renowned equestrian and faculty member at Culver Military Academy, praised Walker's long equestrian history and highlighted the leadership experiences which come from working with horses.

NPR journalist and political pundit Mara Liasson spoke about the power of politics and the importance of delivering accurate news in a time where information sharing is so prevalent. Liasson encouraged the girls to take any and all opportunities they could to further their learning and their appetite for information, all while retaining a critical eye on the reliability of the source.
