Current Openings
Admissions Associate
The Ethel Walker School is seeking a dynamic, energetic person to serve as an Admissions Associate. This individual will join a strong, vibrant team of professionals charged with fulfilling the strategic enrollment needs of the school. The Admissions Associate reports to the Director of Admissions and assists with all of the responsibilities of the enrollment operation, including but not limited to: travel, interviewing prospective students and families, planning and staffing on-campus admissions programs, participating in the applicant screening and decision-making process, and performing other projects as requested by the Director of Admissions. The job is a 12-month position.
Development Communications Coordinator
The Ethel Walker School seeks an experienced and enthusiastic professional to join its Alumnae/Development Office. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development Communications Coordinator is responsible for creating a yearly calendar to track and organize the Development Office’s communication efforts. He/she will coordinate the Development Office communications, including mailings, e-blasts, invitations, monthly volunteer updates, alumnae board e-newsletters, Reunion newsletter(s), the Take Note portion of the School’s alumnae magazine as well as Development events.
Campaign Director
The Ethel Walker School seeks an experienced Campaign Director who is eager and qualified to complete a $50 million Centennial Capital Campaign with much early success and continued momentum garnered to date. The Campaign Director, as a member of the senior administrative team, will report directly to the Head of School. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a close knit, residential community.
Senior Director of Annual Giving
The Ethel Walker School seeks an experienced and enthusiastic fundraising professional to join its Alumnae/Development Office. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Senior Director of Annual Giving is responsible for managing the solicitation of all Walker’s Annual Fund gifts. The Senior Director works with the Annual Fund team to determine and execute strategies for annual giving solicitation efforts, analyze data to create and realize all annual giving goals, plan the Annual Giving calendar, develop and implement strategies to increase Walker’s Annual Giving and to grow the number of donors across all constituencies. The Senior Director will also be responsible for cultivating, soliciting and stewarding leadership donors to the Annual Giving Fund. As a senior member of the staff, the Director works closely with other directors in the Development office.
