Walker's welcomes applications from girls who seek a vibrant and challenging college-preparatory education in a friendly and dynamic community. We are interested in students with a variety of talents, interests, outlooks and backgrounds.
Every applicant is asked to submit the following:
- Part One: General Information
- Part Two: Student Information and Essay
- Parent/Guardian Statement
- Application fee ($60 for U.S. citizens and $125 for international applicants)
- English teacher recommendation
- Mathematics teacher recommendation
- School recommendation
- Official school transcript
- SSAT score report (Secondary School Admission Test) www.ssat.org
- And, where applicable, TOEFL score report (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
A personal interview is required for all applicants. We strongly encourage a campus visit and interview with an Admissions officer. If you are unable to visit because of distance, we can arrange a Skype or telephone interview.

Application Forms
You may also print out the Admissions Application Packet and mail the forms back to our Admissions office. We also accept the SSAT application and the TABS application.
Application Parts I & II and the Parent Statement may be completed online. Teacher recommendations and the Transcript Release (forms below) must be printed, completed by the teachers/current school, and mailed to The Ethel Walker School Admissions office.

The priority deadline for first-round applications is February 1. Applications received after February 1 will be considered on a space-available basis.
