Payment Options
Below are the Payment Options offered by The Ethel Walker School. If a payment election is not made in the Tuition Payment Agreement, the School will assume an election to pay the 2-Pay Plan with the Tuition Refund plan.
1-Pay Plan
Total net tuition (gross tuition less any financial aid) is due on or before June 15
Under this payment option, a family may elect to participate in the Tuition Refund Plan (TRP), optional insurance coverage which costs 3.9% of the net tuition and affords recovery of some tuition payments in accordance with the TRP provisions, in the event the student does not complete the academic school year. TRP is not required under this payment option.
2-Pay Plan
50% of net tuition (gross tuition less any financial aid) is due on or before June 15, and balance is due on or before September 1
Under this payment option, a family may elect to participate in the Tuition Refund Plan (TRP), optional insurance coverage which costs 3.9% of the net tuition and affords recovery of some tuition payments in accordance with the TRP provisions, in the event the student does not complete the academic school year. 2-Pay Plan with required Tuition Refund Plan Coverage
50% of net tuition (gross tuition less any financial aid) is due on or before June 15, and balance due is on or before November 15
Families choosing the 2-Pay Plan with the second payment being due after the start of the school year will be required to purchase TRP, tuition refund insurance which costs 3.9% of the net tuition and affords recovery of some tuition payments in accordance with the TRP provisions in the event the student does not complete the academic school year.
EWS Payment Plan and required Tuition Refund Plan Coverage
The EWS Payment Plan costs an additional $175 and offers ten monthly installments beginning on May 1 with the final payment due on February 1, and requires purchase of TRP, tuition refund insurance. Families signing an enrollment contract may find the number of monthly installments is reduced (depending on how many months after May 1). Regardless of the month when the first monthly payment is made, under this payment plan the final payment is always due on February 1. A payment plan fee of $175 is due on June 15, or at the signing of the contract if this occurs after June 15.
Monthly payments may be made by check or payments may be automatically deducted from your checking account.
