Art Galleries

The Ethel Walker School Art Galleries

Walker’s offers two formal galleries for visiting artists and community members to exhibit their work in addition to faculty members and alumnae. Artists exhibit for approximately four weeks, with the opening of the show celebrated with a reception that is open to the public and the Walker’s community. During receptions, students are invited to discuss the exhibited artwork with the artist. Many visiting artists conduct workshops for our students in Walker’s visual art studios. This year, some of our guest artists will conduct activities with our students that are cross-curricular in nature.

See below for our exhibition calendar and more information about each gallery. Artists interested in exhibiting their work should contact Corina Alvarez de Lugo at calvarezdelugo@ethelwalker.org or 860-408-4261.
