Something new I’ve tried at Walker’s:
Something new I tried at Walker’s was running for class president my sophomore year. Shy and insecure, I absolutely hated public speaking, especially in front of my whole class. I didn’t like being put in the position where I could be rejected and possibly lose. In spite of this, I am glad I ran because I ended up winning, which enabled me to strengthen my leadership and public speaking skills.
