Susan Knapp Thomas '80 Returns to Campus

Walker's Alumna, Susan Knapp Thomas '80, returned to campus recently to run her CT Valley Harp Intensive Camp for the fourth summer. This year the residential camp grew to include 14 young harpists from as near as Connecticut and as far as Wisconsin and North Carolina. Campers benefited from the instruction of three professional harpists, including Susan. In addition to the rehearsals, practices and concerts, campers enjoyed a movie night at Cluett, a scavenger hunt around EWS campus, a spa night of manicures, and a night of outdoor games. Susan shared that everyone enjoyed the beautiful setting of Walker's campus and she even found herself soothed at night by the concert of crickets outside her window in Smith Dorm!
