Centennial Athletic Fields and Pavilion
Walker's has new, state-of-the-art, athletic fields including two new artificial turf fields for field hockey and lacrosse, two new natural turf fields for soccer, and a new softball field. An athletic pavilion has also been constructed providing teams with nearby equipment storage space, restrooms, and a covered area for shelter from inclement weather.
"These fields are about our students, and our alumnae who have paved the way for our athletic program, and our future students who will continue to redefine what it means to be a female athlete," says John Monagan, Director of Athletics at Walker’s.
Named the Centennial Athletic Fields and Pavilion, the project was built during the school's Centennial, helping to celebrate 100 years of educating girls.
