Walker's varsity field hockey took home the title in the Western New England Preparatory School Field Hockey Association.
By the end of October, the varsity field hockey boasted a 9-3 record for the season. The team has three regular season games left, including one home against Miss Porter's for Senior Day. The Wildcats' final games will determine its seed and the location of tournament play in the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council tournament.
Twelve field hockey teams from public and independent schools across New England (grades 6-9) joined Walker's JV and middle school teams in a tournament-style play day on Saturday, October 13 to raise nearly $8,000 in the seventh annual Play4TheCure at Walker's.
The Walker's athletics program is excited to announce the arrival of Tamara DeBerry as the school's head varsity volleyball coach.

This week, the varsity field hockey and soccer teams both opened their seasons with great wins. The field hockey team earned a victory at Choate on Wednesday, September 12 and the soccer team traveled to Trumbull for their win against Christian Heritage on Saturday, September 8.

Walker's lacrosse players Abby Grimaldi '20, Shay Ventresca '19 and Lily Cullen '20 have been selected to represent Connecticut at the US Lacrosse National Tournament, a highly competitive and prestigious event held at Stony Brook University over Memorial Day Weekend.
