Sixth Grade
Mrs. Forde
- Smock/apron/old shirt
- Large sponge 7.5 x 5 x 2 (or a similar size)
- 50 toothpicks
- Small plastic bucket about 8 inches in diameter (a Cool Whip/sherbet container works as well)
- 3 paint brushes (one small for painting fine details, one medium, and one thicker brush)
Ms. Soule
- T-shirt, shorts or leggings, sneakers for dancing outside
Mr. Barker
- Phone, digital camera, iPad capable of taking digital images (with charger)
- iPad or preferably Apple laptop (with charger)
- Pencil or Pen
- Notebook
- Dry Erase Marker

- A 3-ring binder
- Loose-leaf graph paper and lined paper
- A pencil with an eraser
- Your device, charged everyday
- A folder (for handouts)

- Have available in your locker EVERY DAY: appropriate footwear, outer clothing and a beach towel, for time spent outside

- Regular pencil
- Colored pencils (red, orange, yellow, blue, green, black, purple)
- A very small stuffed animal or doll

- A big binder with loose leaf paper (graph paper, if you can find it)
- Dividers with tabs for each chapter
- A pencil with an eraser
- A pink, red or green pen (no purple) for correcting homework

- Composition book (journal)
- 3-ring binder w/ filler paper (lined, 3 hole punched) or a dedicated section for history in a multiple subject 3-ring binder (no spiral pads)
- 2 pocket folders
- White blank paper, colored paper (no neon colors)
- Highlighter (any light color)
- Pencil pouch w/ pencils, eraser, sharpener, PENS (blue or black)
- Art supplies for school: colored pencils, scissors, glue stick.

The items below will be made into a bundle that can be purchased in Diddles during opening days. Student should also plan to bring an apron or smock from home (an old shirt works too).
- Sketchbook – Print and Paste Set (For assignments and to use during the creative process)
- Canson XL Mix Media Pad – 12” x 9”, Portrait, 60 Sheets (For art projects)
- Drawing pencils, white eraser, pencil sharpener (set)
- A small case or ziplock bag for the pencil sharpener
- Ruler
- 2 Sharpie or black markers: 1 fine and 1 ultra fine
- Colored Pencils of choice
- Crayola Paint Brush Pens (this brand only)
- Soft Pastel (6th & 7th grade)
- Oil Pastel (8th grade)
- Case for supplies and a letter size folder for artwork
- White glue
- Glue Stick
- Scissors
- Apron or smock (an old shirt works too) (brought from home)
To have at home if we go to Distance Learning:
- Recyclables like: paper plates, magazines, newspapers, cardboard

- 1” Binder with loose-leaf paper and a sturdy folder inside (for scenes, handouts, responses to scene analysis questions, etc.)
- Highlighters (yellow, pink or orange so it is easy to read lines)
Ms. Thacker
- Composition book, notebook, or journal (will be left in the classroom space)
- Three-ring binder (at least 1.5”-size) to be used solely for English, or a dedicated section of a multiple-subject binder
- Three-hole punched pocket folder (any color)
- Loose-leaf paper (college-lined, three-hole punched, no spiral notebooks, please)
- Highlighter (any light color–colored pencils work great)
- Pencils (no pens, please), pencil-top erasers, pencil sharpener (mechanical pencils are fine)
- Appropriate clothing for outdoor classroom setting (e.g., jacket, sweater, etc.)
Supplies to have on hand at home, for projects:

- Scissors
- Blank paper (computer printer paper is fine)
