Involvement: Dance, Proctor, EWAC
“I am a senior at Walker’s, and I came to Walker’s as a sophomore. As a Cicerone, it is my pleasure to share all my experiences and happiness at Walker’s. I let students who come a thousand miles away know how Walker’s young women can change the world, and inspire them to have rigorous preparation for college. At Walker’s, I felt more than a community, but a family. I let families know that Walker’s is the place that can make their hopes become reality. This is the place that allows intellectual curiosity to grow!”
Being an EWAC member, and a leader of Dance Workshop. Dance Workshop is magic – all of our workshop students saw each other gradually improving, learning the techniques and choreographing our own pieces, eventually mixing with our performance. Before I came to Walker’s, I never imagined I could meet such a talented and amazing group of dancers.
Academically, I have learned a lot from all the courses that I took because every chapter I learned in my classes I could apply to my daily life. Emotionally, I feel that I became more loving and caring for others.
