“Hi! My name is Allie, and I joined the Walker’s community my freshman year of high school. Being a Cicerone allows me to share my love for Walker’s with prospective families, while answering questions and providing information on all that it has to offer. I hope that by being a Cicerone I can help to show girls why Walker’s would be a perfect fit for them and a place to call home, just like it is for me!”

What is your favorite part of your typical day at Walker’s? What do you look forward to every day?

My favorite part of a typical day at Walker’s would be sports practice after classes. I look forward to seeing all of my friends, whether it’s on the field, mountain, or course. It’s a time where all of my distractions and worries are put to the side, and I can get exercise while bonding with my fellow teammates.

What do you think is the biggest benefit of attending Walker’s?

I think that the biggest benefit that Walker’s has to offer is the confidence that it builds. Entering my junior year, there are so many things that I have accomplished that my younger, less confident self would never have predicted I would have done.

How do you feel you have grown since your first day at Walker’s?

I feel as though I have grown a tremendous amount since my first day at Walker’s. Academically, I have pushed myself to take more rigorous classes, and emotionally and mentally I am happy and excited to go to school and learn every day!
