“Hi, my name is Anngelina! I joined the Walker’s community as a sixth grader and have learned and grown so much during middle school and high school. It is more clear than ever to me how fortunate I am to be a student at Walker’s and that there is no other school where I rather be a student. Being a Cicerone is important to me because it gives me the honor and privilege to represent this wonderful school and to welcome prospective students and families to Walker’s by sharing with them all the unique things that Walker’s has to offer. It gives me an opportunity to share some of my personal journey, experiences, and memories here and why Walker’s is so special to me.”

What is your favorite class and why?

My favorite class is ceramics. I love ceramics because it allows me to destress and relax while also staying productive by creating and making art. This class pushed me in many different ways — thinking outside the box and using my creative side to make some fun ceramic pieces I didn’t know I could make!

What is your favorite part of your typical day at Walker’s? What do you look forward to every day?

My favorite part of my typical day at Walker’s is having the ability to walk across the street to see or ride my horse, Mucho. I am a super passionate equestrian and the luxury of having the barn right across the street allows me to do what I love the most every day!

What do you think is the biggest benefit of attending school at Walker’s?

I believe the biggest benefit of attending school at Walker’s is having the opportunity to try new things. In order to grow and learn, it’s really important to step out of your comfort zone and I believe Walker’s is the best place to do that. Walker’s provides so many options, resources, and support to explore whatever interests you — whether it’s trying a new sport or stepping into a new leadership position, Walker’s is the place to stretch yourself and find what you truly love.
