Why do you think it’s important for young women to hold leadership roles?

When I was young, I was inspired by people who were similar to me. So when young girls people see women leading — whether it is in sports, government, or something else— I hope it inspires them as well.

What do you hope other students at Walker’s take away from your leadership on EWAC?

I hope they feel listened to. For me, it is extremely frustrating having an organization in place and feeling as though the general public’s opinion does not matter.

Who is your favorite athlete?

I love Serena and Venus Williams and Coco Gauff.

What is one fun fact about you that may surprise people?

I build guitars.
