“Hi, I’m Christine. I came to Walker’s as a freshman. I think being a Cicerone is important because we can give prospective students an inside look on what life is like at Walker’s. I know that when I was touring Walker’s, my Cicerone played a big part in my choice to come here, so I hope to do the same to another prospective student. I hope to show prospective families all the places around the school that make Walker’s such a special place.”
Math is my favorite class because it’s the class I am best in. Before coming to Walker’s, I hated math but the teachers helped me understand it enough to excel in it.
I preformed in the New Girl Show. I never thought thought that I would do any talent show, let alone be dancing with my friends!
One of my favorite parts of the day is in the morning before classes start where everyone is gathered around one space and just having a fun conversation, studying, or scrambling to help each other with the homework that they didn’t get done the night before.
I would tell them to try and immerse themselves in as much Walker’s as possible, join clubs, try new sports, go all out for every spirit day. The more things you do, the more friends you make and friends can make the time Walker’s even more special.
I think one of the biggest benefits about going to Walker’s is all the connections you make. In such a small, close-knit community, everyone can bond and get to know each other fairly quickly.
I feel like I have grown a lot academically because at Walker’s, fewer students make it a lot easier to have access to the teachers to ask questions and understand more.
I think Walker’s has prepared us for our future by telling us what to expect as we make our way through high school, college, and further.
My favorite thing to do in my free time is sit in the Soc and listen to music as I do homework or sit and talk to my friends.
