Chris earned his B.A. in American Literature from Middlebury College and his J.D. from the Vermont Law School. As Principal with the law firm of Updike, Kelly & Spellacy, P.C. and Chairman of the firm’s Employment Practices Group, he focuses on representing and counseling schools and businesses with respect to workplace and employment law issues. Chris is a member of the Board of Directors of Meritas, a leading global alliance of independent law firms and serves as a member of its US Leadership Committee. Chris is a member of the Board of Trustees for the St. Thomas’s Day School Foundation in New Haven. Chris is the brother of Walker’s graduates Jean Brigham Chant ’82 and Kathleen Brigham ’85.
