“Hi my name is Eaden and I entered walkers as an incoming freshman in 2021. Being a cicerone is important because we are usually the first point of contact for prospective students and families. We give students a better representation of the school rather than meeting with faculty and staff. I strive to show prospective families how inclusive and supportive our community is.”
Even though Math isn’t my best subject, it is my favorite class. My teacher, Mrs. Medic, has made my math experience one of my top 5 favorite experiences at Walker’s. Her class environment and how she truly cares about her students make the biggest impact on me as somebody who could be better at the subject. She pushes you to be better without bringing you down. I LOVE MATH.
I’ve learned to become more independent and self-reliable. I am more responsible with managing my time and holding myself to a higher academic standard. To add on, there are so many leadership opportunities that I’m involved in whether it be in clubs, community partnerships, or my your class that I wouldn’t have considered doing as a new girl.
I’ve become more comfortable speaking up for myself in situations where previously I wouldn’t have.
