“Hi, I’m Emily! I am senior and this is my fourth year at Walker’s. Being a Cicerone is important because we work as the bridge to bond new families with our Walker’s family. I want to show prospective families that Walker’s is a warm community, and it has abundant resources to help people create infinity possibilities and miracles!”

What is a unique experience you’ve had at Walker’s that you didn’t think you’d be involved in when arriving at Walker’s?

Joining the swim team. Before I came to Walker’s, I thought I will not and will never do any sports because I didn’t enjoy it at all. But I feel so lucky that I chose to join the swim team because our coaches were so encouraging and our teammates were always very supportive. They helped me to make great progress!

What is your favorite part about being a boarder?

Our dorm faculty. They make our dorms the warmest place on campus and make it feel at home. They are always here to listen when you feel anxious.

What advice would you give to an incoming Walker’s student?

Health first, education second, prospects last. Words from Ms. Vis!
