“Hello! My name is Rori and I am a senior here at Walker’s. Some things I hope to show you as a Cicerone are my favorite parts of the campus and the diversity of our academics, sports, club offerings. Touring campuses can be hard, so having a guide to answer all of your questions and be as helpful as possible is crucial.”

What is a unique experience you’ve had at Walker’s that you didn’t think you’d be involved in when arriving at Walker’s?

A unique experience was doing my community service, Connecticut Women’s Education and Legal Fund (CWEALF). Being a part of this service made me understand what field of study I wanted to go into even more by going in headfirst.

What advice would you give an incoming Walker’s student?

I would tell them to be open to all the new students in your class because you are all starting off new with each other. Do not be afraid of the upper classmen because most of them turned out to be some of my best friends.

How do you think Walker’s has prepared you for your future?

Walker’s has prepared me for my future by providing me with an all-girls high school education. Being able to find my voice in the classroom before I head off to college, especially for what I want to major in, is going to be very important. If I had not gone here, I would most likely still be a shy kid.
