Walker’s Wine and Dine Series: Wine

Why does a Cabernet from California taste different than one from Oregon? Does an extra-hot year affect the quality of the wine? Join alumna vigneron Jean Moore Edwards ’69 and wine expert Lassa Skinner ’82 as they lead us in a virtual wine class. Find out how climate, soil and geography lead to better growing conditions for different vines, creating the multitude of flavors we love in our wines. Together we’ll sip and savor, learning how to “talk wine” and learning “do’s and don’ts” for pairings.
