The fact that Walker’s is an all-girls school, as well as a school that hosts under-served brown and black girls from the surrounding, under-served communities.
I am currently settling in to my role here at Walker’s and so far, I have found the staff and faculty to be extremely warm and inviting, as well as helpful, which I appreciate very much.
So far, I would say my favorite place on campus would be the lobby of the main building. It’s beautiful!
My favorite subject was always some form of English. I have always had a love for reading and writing. Bonus: Mathematics has always been my least favorite subject!
Write (I am working on my second manuscript), spending time with my two grandsons, and listening to great music.
