Annual Report - Fiscal Year 2014-2015
Dear Walker’s Community,
I am proud to be a member of this extraordinary extended family of faculty, staff, students, parents, alumnae, Trustees and friends. Our results for the 2014-2015 fiscal year were tremendous. By December, one hundred percent of current parents had made a gift to the Fund for Walker’s. This record level of participation is exceedingly rare at independent schools, and secured a $5 million gift from an anonymous alumna that made possible the groundbreaking on the Centennial Center in April. By June 30, we exceeded our $1.75 million annual giving goal for the Fund for Walker’s. Finally, the Centennial Campaign is nearing completion with 90% of our $50 million goal raised to date.
Thanks to your support of the Fund for Walker’s, our students received another year of exceptional programming, including arts and athletics, delivered by a talented, dedicated faculty. The Centennial Center guarantees that our students will enjoy greatly expanded, contemporary facilities in which to train, compete, socialize and focus on personal wellness. Please join us at whatever level you can to help us complete the Campaign - we’re almost there, and with your help, we can finish strong.
Your gifts to the School, whatever the amount, speak volumes about your belief in Walker’s mission, and your commitment to helping young women achieve their fullest potential. As a community, we are in the midst of exciting growth and transformation, and we could not do it without your continued support. Thank you for giving so generously, and for your ongoing participation in the success of our students and the School.

Thank you to our parents, alumnae, faculty, staff and Trustees for all that you did last year to support our mission. Our students are thriving in the classroom, in the arts and athletics, and in their commitment to improving our community. They are leading in myriad ways, and their success and well-being are an inspiration to all of us. Their engagement in learning, and in life on campus and beyond, is a testament to their Walker’s experience. Our students’ success is a reflection of everything your gifts make possible, every day. Congratulations on a very successful year, and thank you for your continued support of The Ethel Walker School."
