Julie Greshin's Earth Science classes headed out into the woods to test their knowledge of the rocks types they had just learned in the classroom. Surrounded by basalt outcrops, which were lots of fun to climb, students were tasked with finding and identifying other rock types. Success for all!
Ecology students enjoyed the chance to study the ecological principles they are learning about in the classroom by heading into Walker's Woods. Their challenge: find examples of organisms interacting with other organisms and with the abiotic world around them. The girls found plenty of them!
