While Walker’s fell in 3 sets on Saturday to Hotchkiss (10-25, 8-25, 18-25), they were able to rally back in the third set, leading almost the entire set before ultimately falling short. Sophomore Malaika Wotorson kept the momentum going for Walker’s in the third set with a powerful kill that left Hotchkiss stunned. While it looked like Walker’s was going to take the third set, ultimately Hotchkiss proved to outpower the Wildcats and take the victory. Even though Walker’s didn’t take home a win on Saturday, the teamwork they showed by rallying back in the third set proved they still have a lot of determination to fight until the end.
