Ethel Walker School
Members of Dance Workshop attended the annual New England Prep School Dance Festival on April 8. This year, the spring festival was held at the Northfield Mount Hermon School. The dancers were able to attend three master classes throughout the day in various styles. Dance Director Cheri Soule was among the guest teachers.
At the end of the day the schools in attendance – which included Porter’s, Loomis, Taft, Kent, and Choate, among others – performed for each other. Walker’s Dance Workshop performed “We Are (Not)” choreographed by Bri Goolsby ’18, and “Reclaim” choreographed by Garet Wierdsma ’18. It was a fun day of dancing and sharing work. We look forward to welcoming everyone to Walker’s in November for our fall festival.
