vs. Indian Mountain School

Game Summary

Ethel Walker fell to Indian Mountain School’s varsity lacrosse team on Friday, April 11th with a final score of 4-12. IMS had a strong first quarter with 6 goals, and Walkers struggled defensively against a faster offense. But Walkers turned it around in the 2nd quarter, and Samantha Class ‘28 scored her first goal of the season. Amelia Hamel ‘28 started Walker’s off strong in the second half, leading a settled offense and scoring in the first two minutes. Midfielder Emma Mazur ‘27 also had a strong second half, scoring two goals, including a fantastic crease roll. While it was a difficult game, Walker’s showed great improvement throughout and really pushed themselves to use the skills they had been practicing.
