Game Summary

Ethel Walker lost to Rectory School A team in a tough game on Saturday, April 25th, 2026 with a score of 4-7. Walker’s had a bit of a tough start, with Rectory scoring twice in the first minute of the game. Once the defense was able to settle, Walker’s was able to successfully defend their goal. Despite a lack of subs and issues with the grass field, Walker’s ended the first half with grit and determination. After discussing strategies at half time, Walker’s was able to pick up in the second half of the game, with Luna A. ‘30, and Emma Alcoff ‘27, each scoring two goals. Zia Schwartz ‘29, had an exciting full-field run and shot on goal in the last quarter. Although it was a tough loss, the coaches are proud of the players’ flexibility and determination.
