Game Summary
Ethel Walker lost to Westminster School on Friday, May 1st with a score of 5-11. Westminster had a strong start, with two goals scored in the first few minutes of the game. After a tough first quarter, Walker’s defense started communicating better, and captain Amelia Hamel ‘28, was able to score Walker’s first goal of the game. In the second half, Walker’s defense really stepped up, and both Walker’s and Westminster scored one goal in the third quarter. The goal was scored by Emma Alcoff ‘27. In the last quarter of the game, Walker’s scored three goals– two by Amelia Hamel ‘28, and one by Luna A. ‘30. Goalie Rebecca Dai ‘28, had a 60% save rate. Overall, it was a strong performance in the second half, and players showed that they were able to respond well to feedback and on-field adjustments.
