Game Summary

The game was a tight affair between two evenly matched teams with the scoreline reflecting the back and forth, end-to-end chances and goals. Rumsey’s first shot saw them go up 1-0 only to be matched by a long range effort by Livi Samaraweera ’26. She then put us 2-1 up from the penalty spot from a hand ball in the box. Rumsey equalized shortly after to make it 2-2 at the half. After the break we went ahead 3-2 from another Livi penalty, only for Rumsey to equalize 10 minutes from the end. As both teams pushed for the winner, Rumsey scored on a breakaway to break Walker’s hearts!
