vs. Miss Porter's School

This Saturday, JV volleyball had their second match against a solid Miss Porter’s team. Many of our new skills were on display, from overhand serving to setting, and we put up a strong fight in three close sets. Ultimately, the team lost to Porter’s, bringing our record to 1-1 for the season so far.

Captain Maeve Sullivan ’27 was a strong presence in the front row, and her serves kept the Porter’s team on their toes. Captain Nhi Chau ’27 kept the team on track with her skillful sets, and newcomer Jillian G. ’29 started many of our best plays with her excellent passes. She is sure to be one to watch this season. We look ahead to our match on Wednesday, and to the rest of our season!
