vs. The Taft School

JV volleyball had their first away game of the season on Wednesday against a strong team from Taft. Although our team has been showing steady improvement, we lost 2-1, with a great comeback to come out victorious in one of the sets.

Newcomer Nyjirah Stones ‘26 had a beautiful kill in the second set, and captain Gracie Bennett ‘27 kept the team energized with some great passes and serves. Everyone managed to stay in rotation and keep a positive attitude thanks to the help from our great captains! We look forward to a weekend off to support varsity in their game against Choate, and to getting back in the swing of our season next Wednesday.
