Game Summary
Ethel Walker’s squash team traveled to Pomfret on the weekend for the NEPSAC Class E Tournament. After three victories, the Wildcats earned the title – their second in three years.
In the quarterfinals, Walker’s earned a 6-1 victory over Newton Country Day School winning in the top six spots in the lineup.
On Saturday afternoon, they played Canterbury, who entered as the #1 seed. Walker’s came away with a 5-2 triumph in the semis to earn a spot in Sunday morning’s Final. Walker’s earned wins at #2, #3, #5, #6 and #7 in the lineup.
In the championship match, Ethel Walker showed their roster depth as they were victorious in spots #4 through #7 to come away with a 4-3 win against Kingswood Oxford.
