Game Summary

Ethel Walker won against the Rumsey School at home on Tuesday, May 5th with a score of 7-3. The first half was a tight game, with both slides showing strong defense and struggling with ground balls. Enzi Koopman ‘29, scored the first goal of the game, while Ivy Lea-Simons ‘28, scored the next goal. After half time, Walker’s began to pull ahead, with Luna A. ‘30, scoring three times in the second half. Emma Alcoff ‘27, scored the final goal of the game. Walker’s defensive line only allowed one goal in the second half, with strong plays by Inaya Abdur-Rahman ‘29, and Zia Schwartz ‘29. It was a great game after a series of tough losses, and players did well with playing a more settled offense.
