Game Summary

Walker’s opened their Holiday Invitational with a very solid 78-50 win over a tough and physical Cushing team. Walker’s jumped out to an early lead with strong shooting, but Cushing held tough with strong defense and play of their own. Walker’s grabbed a 10 point lead and the game stayed at that margin for much of the first half. Carrying a 12 point lead into the 4th quarter, Walker’s used an early 8-0 run to extend the lead to 20, where it sat for the majority of the quarter. It was a strong game from the host team, and Walker’s was able to kick off their busy 24 hours with a good victory.
