vs. Hoosac School

Ethel Walker came back from an extended break and earned a great victory over a strong Hoosac team. Hoosac, who plays in the AA class, made the long trip down to Connecticut for the game, and Walker’s was able to use a great first quarter to run out to a lead while their opponents were getting their legs underneath them. After one, Walker’s led 22-4. However, Hoosac proved their will and determination by fighting back quarter by quarter. Down the stretch, despite losing a starter to an injury, Walker’s locked in on defense hit free throws and earned the five-point victory to move to 7-1 on the season. Walker’s plays at Suffield Academy on Saturday.
