Walker’s faced The King School in Stamford on Wednesday, the wildcats came out with a winning mindset, and quickly Peyton Maloney ’27 found an opening to go up 1-0. The King School answered a few plays later and tied it 1-1. Walker’s continues to work on great passes and communication around plays and it showed on the field yesterday. At halftime, the score was 1-2 King School
In the second half, some hard defense from Walker’s stopped King from advancing with the help of Sadie Tranter ’26 and Cristina Samaranch ’27. Still, King went up 1-3 and we answered with a beautiful push-in from Caroline Toto ’26.
The team worked hard on the field and got better, it was a tough 2-4 loss.
The team continues to click and we continue to have a growth mindset. We have Green Farms Academy on Saturday.
