Game Summary

Walker’s travelled to Wallingford on Wednesday April 23rd to face a strong Choate team. From the opening minute Choate displayed excellent ball movement, and finesse with their shots on goal. Walker’s stepped up to the challenge and battled with the Choate team throughout the game. Marlo Meador ’25 had some tremendous saves and clears in goal, to earn possession for Walker’s. Ella Schroeder ’25 played excellent defense throughout the game and was effective on transitions and ground balls. The game saw four different goal scorers for Walker’s: Jenna Hamel ’25, Allison Hayes ’25, Nyjirah Stones ’26, and Gigi Peña ’26; all netting one goal a piece. Walker’s played a well played game, but were ultimately outscored by Founders League opponent, Choate 16-4.
