Game Summary

Walker traveled to West Hartford to face a similar opponent on a rescheduled Thursday game. The previous matchup this season ended with a 6-5 OT win for Walker’s. The Kingswood Oxford team was much improved from their first game this season and started very strong, displaying their developed skill and game IQ. In a similar fashion, Walker’s stepped up to the challenge battling in a game where every goal was hard earned. The Walker’s team took the lead in the 4th quarter, 6-5, then 7-5 with three minutes left in the game. The final three minutes saw a display of excellent game management by the Walker’s attack who maintained possession until the final whistle. J. Hamel ‘25, A. Hayes ‘25, and C. Toto ‘26 contributed goals on the day to help Walker’s earn the win.
