vs. Miss Porter's School

Walker’s hosted Miss Porter’s at home on Saturday after traveling to Farmington twice last season. Walker’s came out hot, Nyjirah Stones ’26, Allison Hayes ’25, and Jenna Hamel ’25 controlling the draw. In a heads up 8 meter play, Paula Arevalo ’25 dished the ball to Jenna Hamel ’25 who rolled the crease and opened up the game. Walker’s moved the ball well and controlled possession throughout the first half. Captain Marlo Meador ’25 made some skillful saves to secure a shutout for Walker’s with a 9-0 score in the first half. Jenna Hamel ’25 contributed 6 goals in the first half. In the second half Walker’s played a strategic game, valuing possession and making good decisions through the defensive end up to the attack. An incredible team win for the Walker’s team at home who came out on top 12-2 over Miss Porter’s.
