Defensively, the first quarter of the game went very well. Walker’s scored the first goal and three more for a total of 4; however, Suffield Academy reacted quickly and answered with seven unanswered goals. The referees did a great job calling an aggressive game. By the end of the half, we were down 5 – 11.
Walker’s fought hard through the second half to tie it up 12 – 12 and head into overtime. In an exciting sudden-death double overtime, Walker’s scored the winning goal with only seconds remaining in OT.
Emerson, ’23, led the team with six goals; Marygrace, ’27, scored a Hat Trick; and Allison, ’25, led the assists and scored.
