vs. Loomis Chaffee School

Playing down their opening day starters at third base, second base, center field and left field, Walker’s traveled to Loomis to play a much-improved Loomis team. Walker’s got on the board first thanks to strong hitting and base running from Ellie Brothers and Annalisse Santana, but were unable to do much more offensively on the afternoon. Loomis had several great defensive plays to stop Walker’s rallies. While the effort was there for Walker’s, there were simply too many players in new positions to avoid the expected miscues that come with a new spot on the field. Walker’s will look to turn things around this week when they travel to Marianapolis.
