vs. Westminster School

Game Summary

Walker’s traveled across town to take on Westminster on Monday afternoon. Walker’s loaded the bases with no outs in the top of the first inning, but were only able to get across one run. After Westminster tied the game in the bottom of the first, Walker’s countered with another run in the top of the second. After extending their lead to 3-1 in the top of the third inning, Westminster scored four in the bottom of the frame to take a 5-3 lead. Walker’s proved their mettle, however, scoring two again in the top of the 4th to tie the game. Westminster scored what would turn out to be the decisive run in the bottom of the 5th, and Walker’s, despite getting their leadoff batter on in the top of the 6th and two on in the top of the 7th, could not score to tie the game.
