Walker’s pushed another five-set match on Wednesday against Cheshire Academy, falling to the Cats (25-23, 25-14, 16-25, 21-25, 5-15). Walker’s played phenomenally in the first set, in which neither team had more than a three-point lead throughout the set. They kept up that momentum going into the second set, with junior Jordan Hedges ’23 pushing the team forward with a 10-point service run. Walker’s lost their momentum in the third, put up a fight in the fourth, and fell fast in the fifth, getting lost in a 9-point start from Cheshire. A great game to have watched in the stands!
