New Athletic Director Named

June 4, 2019

Walker’s is pleased to announce that Kati Eggert has been named our new athletic director, effective July 1, 2019.

Kati joined Walker’s in 2018 as aquatics director and sports information director. Over the past year, she has instilled Walker’s athletics social media platforms with life and energy. She is also responsible for penning athletic press releases for local media outlets, working closely with all members of the athletic department. Kati coached in the field hockey program this fall, and was the head coach of the swim team. This spring, she was an assistant coach for the varsity softball team. Kati currently serves as a residential affiliate in the Cluett dormitory and lives on campus.

Since joining the Walker’s community, it has been clear that Kati holds an enthusiasm and love for her students. Her energy is felt in the hallways, at games, and in the way she dedicates her time to her advisees. Her passion for athletics is seen in the way she supports all of our programs, coaches and student-athletes. Kati has worked to build relationships both on and off campus and has made her mark here in her first year at Walker’s.

Kati previously worked at Westover School, where she served as the assistant athletic director and was instrumental in maintaining the school’s social media presence. Kati was the head coach of the swim team, leading them to the school’s first CISAC athletic conference championship in 2017. She also coached within the field hockey and softball programs.

Kati was a three-sport varsity athlete at Drew University, playing field hockey, softball and swimming. While at Drew she earned All Academic Conference recognition, served as captain to the swim team and medaled in multiple Landmark Conference Championships. Kati earned her B.A. in Art and Secondary Education from Drew University and received a Master of Science in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
