Nadine Stetzelberg ’23 and Sophia Xu ’26 have qualified to play in the 2023 Connecticut Music Educators Association Northeast Regional Orchestra and Concert Band in January. Their placements were earned through a rigorous adjudicated process, and these students are now eligible to audition for All-States in February.
The Northern Region High School Festival will be held January 13-14 at New Britain High School and will culminate in a concert on January 14, featuring Jazz Band, Chorus, Concert Band, and Orchestra.
Founded in 1932, the CMEA is one of the oldest state music educators associations in the nation. The CMEA provides programs and activities for professional educators, students, and future music educators striving to enhance the quality of music education for all children (cmea.org).
