Students Represent Walker’s in State Poetry Contest

On Tuesday, April 25, four students represented Walker’s at the annual Connecticut Council of Language Teachers (COLT) 36th Annual Poetry Recitation Contest, held at Bristol Central High School: Mae Johnson ’22, Hannah Schweitzer ’19, Jeanine Wang ’18 and Jacqueline Zhao ’18.

Jeanine won first place in high school heritage Chinese grades eleven through 12, and Jacqueline won second place in high school heritage Chinese grades nine through ten.
