Varsity field hockey co-captain Ella Schroeder ’25 was named to the 2024 High School Impact Senior Team by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA), an honor shared by only 175 student-athletes across the country. This team celebrates seniors who have made a lasting impression on their schools throughout their high school athletic careers, taking into account character, leadership, sportsmanship, service, and impact beyond the field.
In addition, the NFHCA named three Walker’s Varsity field hockey players to the High School National Academic Squad for their work both in the classroom and on the field. Ella Schroeder ’25, Caroline Toto ’26, and Celia Xu ’26 were all honored as a result of their academic performance during the fall semester of the 2024-2025 school year. Schroeder and Xu were also named Scholars of Distinction, a title earned with higher academic qualifications. Juniors and seniors from across the country are eligible for this distinction and are nominated by coaches and selected based on GPA.
Congratulations to these student-athletes!
