Wellington and IEA Regionals Update

Winter Equestrian Festival: Nicole Macari ’20 (pictured) placed fourth at The Palm Beach Masters in the 1.10 meter Bronze Championship Speed class with Latina RDH; Gigi Moynihan ’21 won multiple ribbons in the 15-17 Equitation on Lancelot and had top finishes in the Medium Junior Jumpers with Chacom Ask, including a win the WEF 4 speed class, and multiple top three finishes in the Dover Saddlery/USEF Medal, the ASPCA Maclay and WIHS Equitation with Quantico; Lily Ridgley ’22 had a tenth place finish in the Low Children’s Classic with Triomphe out of a very competitive field of 52 riders; Julia Luciani ’20 and Ava Strohmeyer ’21 also competed in WEF 4 in the Low Children’s Jumpers.

IEA Regionals: Both Walker’s Middle and Upper School teams have qualified for IEA Regionals this year! The following girls have qualified for individual classes: Quinn Van Cara ’23, Chloe Fares ’24, Kate Samson ’23, Leah Glaser ’20, Quinn Bailey ’21, Amy Xia ’21, Lily Ridgley ’22, Hannah Theriault ’20, Rebecca Morris ’19, Eva Mazzola ’21, Elizabeth Coghlan and Erin Coghlan.
