With a fantastic start, Walker’s initiated the scoring, capitalizing after a long offensive possession through the first quarter. As the half continued, Walker’s became more comfortable holding the ball and, with some key defensive stops, ended the half with a 3-0 lead over Kent. Following halftime, Kent scored their first point in the 30th minute of the game, ultimately rallying to a 3-3 scoreline after the third quarter. Into the fourth quarter, the teams swapped goals, Kent scoring last. With a 6-5 advantage for Kent and 0:09 left on the clock, Walker’s could not force overtime in a well-played game by the team.
