Following a well-played game on Saturday, Walker’s started strong vs. Kingswood Oxford on Monday afternoon. With great defensive play from L. Devine ‘27, E. Schroeder ‘25, K. Whalen ‘25, and Gabby D.M. ‘28, Walker’s secured a halftime score of 4-0. However, into the second half, Walker was caught off guard by a reenergized K.O. group who were able to tie up the game in the fourth quarter, 5-5. This scoreline remained at the end of regulation time, forcing overtime. In a golden goal situation, A. Hayes ‘25 was able to secure possession off the draw for Walker’s. With just a few seconds left on the clock in the first period of overtime, attacker J. Hamel ‘25 found the back of the net to win the game for the Wildcats
